Nature doesn't read your running order

Vivian Hunter
Vivian has a passion for utilizing events as platforms for education and social change. After 13 years in the events industry, she grew tired of seeing events create more environmental impact in one day than she felt she could in her lifetime. She and her company, Ascendance Sustainable Events, have since developed award-winning sustainability programs, with a vision of making the events industry a leader in teaching the world how to take better care of our planet.

Oliver Guy Watkins
Oliver has been part of the events industry for over 20 years, having started as a special effects technician on large scale projects for the likes of Netflix, Amazon and Disney, before moving into project management of technology deployments.
Having led wifi and CCTV deployments at The Chelsea Flower Show, Bestival and Operation London Bridge; this year was also Oliver’s 10th year onsite at British Summertime Festival in Hyde Park, and 6th at All Points East.
In 2023 Oliver joined PMY Group full time and has since become the head of Commercial Strategy in EMEA, where he has built out a series of partnerships to strengthen the depth of deployment, from royalty reporting to crowd intelligence and fan experience. AI and machine learning tools have been deployed at numerous events over the last two years, from bespoke festivals such as DOEL in Belgium and Forbidden Forest to stadiums such as Tottenham Hotspur and Grandslam Tennis tournaments.
Moving forward he hopes that the tools now available allow events to safely manage crowds in relation to events dictated by incidents or weather, as well as generate additional revenue through data driven real time assessments of F&B, merchandise, programming and staffing levels. Leading to a more solid base with which to operate.
