Groove Brno is an international music festival based in Brno, Czech Republic, focused on contemporary groove-oriented music across genres such as funk, jazz, soul, fusion, and innovative crossover projects. Since its founding in 2008, the festival has built a strong reputation for its carefully curated dramaturgy, unique concert concepts, and emphasis on exceptional live performances. What makes Groove Brno unique is its ability to connect internationally acclaimed artists with distinctive local and European projects, often creating exclusive collaborations and premiere concert formats specially prepared for the festival. The program regularly combines club intimacy with world-class musicianship and genre-defying artistic approaches. Over the years, Groove Brno has hosted artists such as Cory Wong, Tower of Power, Cory Henry, Earth, Wind & Fire, Incognito, Candy Dulfer, Dirty Loops, Maceo Parker, Kurt Elling, Judith Hill, MonoNeon, Vincen García, Freak Power, Omar Lyefook, Ghost-Note, Nils Landgren, Phil Lassiter, Electro Deluxe and many, many others. The festival takes place in various venues across the city of Brno and has become one of the most respected groove-oriented music events in Central Europe.
